Bringing hepatitis awareness to Pride PH
StITCH joined Pride PH with a booth supporting public engagement on hepatitis.
StITCH joined Pride PH on 27 June 2026 with a booth bringing hepatitis into a community gathering.
The activity formed part of the team’s public engagement work, alongside efforts to make hepatitis care easier to access through local health services.
Community spaces offer opportunities to talk about health beyond the clinic. For hepatitis, this includes helping people understand why testing matters and challenging the stigma that can make it difficult to ask questions or seek care.
StITCH’s wider approach connects awareness with screening, assessment, and continuing care. Participation in Pride PH brought that work into a setting centered on visibility, inclusion, and community.
