Tarlac teams bring training and service review together

StITCH's July activities in Tarlac combined training, operational discussions, and review of hepatitis services.

StITCH’s activities in Tarlac on 14–17 July 2026 brought together training, operational discussions, and a review of hepatitis service delivery.

The work forms part of the project’s support for local teams delivering hepatitis services through public primary care. Training and service review provide complementary ways to support that work: developing provider skills and examining how services operate in practice.

StITCH’s model connects screening, assessment, treatment for eligible patients, and continuing monitoring, with specialist support when needed. Each stage depends on coordination between health workers, laboratories, and referral facilities.

The July activities continued the collaboration with Tarlac teams around this connected approach to care.
